The Conference Championships are here, and the boys will be getting together to watch in person. We'll have to see if we can find an Applebee's close by. Anyway, this is a tough week. According to Action Network, none of the four teams have received more than 54% of the tickets in their respective game. So people are pretty split. Should be some good action on Sunday.

The Chiefs really struggled to stop the run last week. Now they'll be going up against a team who is even better at it. Kansas City has showed that they are not the same team they have been over the past few seasons. The beat up on a banged up Miami team in subzero temperatures, then squeaked by Buffalo on a missed kick. Now they'll have to head into Baltimore, who has a rest advantage, and who is much healthier than anybody they've played in the postseason so far. Plus, every square in America is gonna be like, "Oh, I love getting 3.5 with Mahomes. Even if they lose it'll be by a field goal." So I'll go the other way and take the favorite.
49ers -7.0
Sorry Detroit, I just don't see it. I've faded the Lions quite a bit this season and it has been very expensive. But here's the whole thing with this game. The 49ers are a great team. The Lions are a pretty good team. I'll take the great team in that matchup. Even better that Purdy laid a turd on national television last week and made everyone scared to bet on him. Is he really that much scarier to bet on than Jared Goff? The Lions are the much more fun story (and so are the Chiefs), so I'm gonna go ahead and bet against the narrative and prove once and for all that the NFL is not scripted. Ugh. I'm on BOTH favorites? Jesus, I hate this week.
